Monday, July 07, 2003 itching my legs have been ravaged by the misquitoes this weekend. i kept scratching because of course, i couldnt stop. and now they swelled up to the size of baseballs and are rather unattractive-looking. tempted to just call it a day and fall asleep. who knew vacations could be so tiring. i'm just going to sit outside and eat mangoes for the rest of the day. 7:00 PM

Sunday, July 06, 2003 weekend update i went on a little roadtrip. i saw a firework display. i ate nothing but junk all weekend. i swam and got really tanned. i played cards and drank alcoholic beverages. i took pictures. i slept. i went to the boardwalk and took a picture in a photobooth. i ate funnel cake and drank lemonade. the only thing i didnt get to do was go to the meadowlands fair. too tired. must sleep now. 9:11 PM

Friday, July 04, 2003 not feeling the least bit guilty, thank you very much someone called me yesterday and left me a message that went something like this: "hi sweetie...i wanted to call to let you know that i didnt forget about you. and to tell you have a happy birthday!..." i'm assuming that this person called the wrong number because i know he knows my real birthday, but i took the message to heart and decided to buy myself a nice little birthday gift. now i just have to learn how to the do all the computer related end stuff and project snapshot is a go-go. since this is the holiday, and my birthday, i decided to treat myself to a mcdonalds breakfast. now breakfast itself is few and far between in my life, but a sausage, egg and cheese mcgriddle sandwhich with hash browns and coffee is unheard of. i've anticipated this meal since i first heard the commercial and i must give kudos to the mcdonalds team for coming up with yet another amazing breakfast treat. have a great weekend everyone! 1:04 PM

Wednesday, July 02, 2003 my resolve is weakening, once again ah, the time has come to splurge on yet another unnamed luxury item. i actually feel a little guilty about buying this because its so damn expensive, but i've waited over a year for this and the price has actually gone down to somewhat affordable. and its not like i'm going anywhere this summer. no vacation. no big shopping sprees to date. nothing of the sort. so its not really as bad as i'm making it out to be...so i try to justify this in my head. and its on sale, dammit! holiday weekend is upon us and i plan to spend the weekend relaxing by a pool and playing with my new toy (that is, if i do decide to buy it....tomorrow we shall see) the stress of the week has melted away with the knowledge that i have one extra day to do nothing with. i plan to spend that day wisely. doing absolutely nothing. :) 9:03 PM

Tuesday, July 01, 2003 the chaos that never was i think r.kelly should rethink his nickname "the pied piper of r&b" its such a negative connotation for someone in his current position. i had a hell of a horrible week last weekend so don't even ask. i'd like to forget it ever happened. i did buy a new bookbag which has now become my new object of affection. i am currently counting the days til i leave for san francisco so i can pack my bag. this is what my life is reduced to. anticipating packing. i even made notes. the great thing is, well, great and not great is that i can only be there for three days so i can pack everything in my bookbag and not have to deal with the hassle of checking in luggage. no waiting and hoping and praying everything comes back in one piece...even though it is a direct flight -- you'd think that would simplify things....but people always find ways to fuck things up. i havent been on a vacation in a while. its long overdue, i think. harry potter rocks! 5:57 PM
